Kèr Ftiēbeg (Ftiē /beg/ [fact] [daughter]) is a subtropical Town located in the Zåkräf Region of the Tetbur Commune.
The name Kèr Ftiēbeg is derived from the Tauric language, as Kèr Ftiēbeg was founded by Truthnu Naegle, who was culturaly Tauric.
Climate
Kèr Ftiēbeg has a yearly average temperature of 28°C (82°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 32°C (89°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 25°C (77°F). Kèr Ftiēbeg receives an average of 155 cm/y (61 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Kèr Ftiēbeg covers an area of nearly 4 km2 (1 mi2), and an average elevation of 3364 m (11036 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Kèr Ftiēbeg was founded durring the early 11th century, by Truthnu Naegle. The establishment of Kèr Ftiēbeg was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Truthnu Naegle struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Kèr Ftiēbeg as a prison colony.
Kèr Ftiēbeg was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kèr Ftiēbeg is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.
Kèr Ftiēbeg is buildings are arranged arround a network of spacious cobblestone streets which form a grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town is the proud owner of a properly designed set of renforced walls made from mighty querried stone blocks. Their construction and material choices would make a dwarf weap with joy, for each and every part of the elaborate fortifications are purly functional and robust well byond reason. Even nonexperts can tell the walls are an excelent defencive structure. Kèr Ftiēbeg's exceptionaly well made fortifications has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.
Kèr Ftiēbeg has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Kèr Ftiēbeg ’s existence has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. Likely due to this, Kèr Ftiēbeg is, in a word, disorder. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a town, and more like a spot people just happened to have homes. One cannot help but wonder what Kèr Ftiēbeg was like during the glorydays.
Civic Infrastructure
Kèr Ftiēbeg has an animal control department which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the control, impoundment, and disposition of animals.

Kèr Ftiēbeg has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
Kèr Ftiēbeg has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Kèr Ftiēbeg's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Kèr Ftiēbeg has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
Kèr Ftiēbeg has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Kèr Ftiēbeg is home to a University which provides higher education in a variety of fields, and also serves as a research institute for those same fields.
Cultural Notes
Two or more groups of citizens within Kèr Ftiēbeg hate each other. Their neighbors or the local law have kept things from too-overt violence, but members of the groups will constantly interfere with their rivals and cause whatever misery they can get away with. This hate may spring from recent events, or it may be an inherited spite from old wrongs.
Kèr Ftiēbeg's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its fluid and florid elaborate style, comprising ornate, asymmetric designs and pastel shades. It is often considered to be a playful, light style, which made exuberant use of curves and emphasized subtle asymmetry in the general shape of its structures. Walls, ceilings and moldings are decorated with numerous interlacing of curves and counter-curves based on the shapes of ‘C’ and ‘S’, along with shell forms and other naturalistic shapes.

The Bogwid near Kèr Ftiēbeg are known to be more aggressive than normal.
Kèr Ftiēbeg's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves creating small tokens to channel Augury energies of tier 1 via mimery.
